ABSTRACT:
Because natural products have no known adverse effects as compared to medicines, they are becoming more and more valuable in clinical study. According to traditional ayurvedic literature, Tinospora cordifolia, often known as "Guduchi," has extensive use in the treatment of numerous ailments. Global interest in the plant has increased recently due to the identification of its active components and their biological role in illness prevention. In this review, we discuss our current research on (i) the genetic diversity of the plant and (ii) the biological relevance of the plant's separated active ingredients in disease targeting. The review's continued focus is on utilizing the biochemical and signaling pathways impacted by the substances extracted from Tinospora in order to facilitate novel and efficient formulation in the elimination of disease.
